Ecoblanket® is the pioneering Organics Blanket system in Australia, providing an award-winning, compost-based solution for erosion control, revegetation and long-term land rehabilitation. Developed for challenging sites and degraded soils, Ecoblanket® combines high-quality recycled organic material, tailored seed blends, soil ameliorants and Groundworks®‘ proprietary biodegradable Microblend tackifier into a single, integrated application.
As one of Australia’s most proven Organics Blanket systems, EcoBlanket® is fully compliant with DTMR’s MRTS16 and Transport for NSW Specification R178, making it the ideal solution for government, civil infrastructure, mining and environmental rehabilitation projects.
Unlike conventional treatments that rely on imported topsoil, erosion control matting or multiple installation stages, Ecoblanket® creates an immediate organic layer over the soil surface. This protects exposed ground from erosion, improves moisture retention and establishes the conditions required for rapid vegetation growth and long-term ecological recovery.
Applied pneumatically in a controlled, single-pass process, Ecoblanket® can be installed up to 120 metres from the truck, allowing large areas, steep batters and difficult-access sites to be treated efficiently with minimal ground disturbance.

From the moment it is installed, Ecoblanket® provides complete soil coverage and protects exposed surfaces from rainfall impact, runoff and sediment movement.
The organic blanket and biodegradable Microblend tackifier bind the treatment together while allowing water to infiltrate the soil, providing:

Sustainable revegetation
Ecoblanket® does more than cover the ground. It creates a nutrient-rich growing environment that supports rapid germination, healthy root development and reliable vegetation establishment.
Seed mixes can be tailored to suit the location, project objectives and surrounding ecology, with locally sourced native species used wherever possible. Soil ameliorants can also be incorporated following soil analysis and applied as part of the same installation process.
